Rupert Grint

Rupert Michael Grint (born August 24, 1988) is a British actor best known for playing the character of Ron Weasley in the Harry Potter films Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone and its sequels Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets and Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban. He will reprise his role in the fourth Harry Potter film, Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, which is planned to be released in 2005.

Grint has also appeared as Alan A. Allen in the British comedy film Thunderpants (2002) and he entered a video he made of himself rapping about the role of Harry Potter, and ended up getting the part of Ron. He had only acted in little plays in his school years, before landing roles in Thunderpants and the Harry Potter series. He is also known for his radio and television voiceovers
