Ryan Shoulders (born March 28, 1980) was a cast member on the popular Survivor: Pearl Islands. He was a member of the Morgan tribe. His nickname became "Skinny Ryan" to distinguish himself from another Ryan on the show, Ryan Opray . On Pearl Islands, his lack of strength in an immunity challenge led to his demise, and he was the second to be voted off the show. Shoulders, however, said it was because he "didn't make friends with the right people."

Shoulders was born in Clarksville, Tennessee. Before appearing on Survivor, Shoulders was a produce clerk at a local grocery store. In high school, he made the National Forensics Tournament in his senior year, a tough hurdle for him to cross, and has been most proud of it. He attended Austin Peay State University in the hopes to receive a degree in communications and computer science.

Shoulders has also taken up some time by writing parody songs and becoming a one-man band.

Entertainment Weekly wrote of Shoulders, "If Ryan takes home the loot, it will be a revenge of the nerds unseen since the heyday of Lambda Lambda Lambda. That's what happens when you're a produce clerk."
