Södertälje Municipality

Södertälje [søːdə˘ʈɛljə] is a Municipality in Stockholm County, in central Sweden. The municipality covers an area of 522.8 km². Of the total population of 77,882 about 15 000 are assyrian/aramaic immigrants arriving in this area since the late 1960s.
Business
Truck manufacturer Scania has its main location in Södertälje. It is also one of the main sites for pharmaceutical company AstraZeneca.
Sports
The city has an ice hockey team in the top national series. There is also a successful football club, started by the city's Assyrian community, which now plays in one of the top national leagues.
