SPAAG
SPAAG stands for Self-Propelled Anti-Aircraft Gun. SPAAGs are usually multi-cannon turrets with a high rate of fire mounted on top of APC or light tank chassis. The concept was pioneered mainly by the Germans during World War 2, with their flakpanzer series ("Kugelblitz", "Coelian", etc.).
ZSU is the Russian acronym for SPAAG ("Zenitnaya Samokhodnaya Ustanovka").
Modern SPAAGs include the Russian ZSU-23-4 Shilka, American M163 Vulcan and special versions of the German Leopard MBT and French AMX-13. Other, older examples include the ZSU-57-2.
