Samara Oblast

Samara Oblast (Сама́рская о́бласть) is an administrative division of the Russian Federation. It is located in the Privolzhsky (Volga) Federal District. The administrative center is Samara.

Area 53,600 km², population 3,239,737 (as of 2002 All-Russian Population Census).
