San Marco Platform
The San Marco platform is a platform anchored in front of the coast of Kenya used for launching rockets with solid-propellant. From San Marco platform in 1972 the X-ray research satellite Uhuru was launched with a Scout rocket. On February 16th, 1980 from San Marco Platform some sounding rockets were launched to observe a total solar eclipse.
