Sandara Park

Sandara Park (born November 12, 1984 in Busan, South Korea) is a Filipina actress, singer, and T.V. host.

Sandara was born to both Korean parents, and neither of them speak English nor Tagalog languages. Her father is a businessman, but when she was 8 years old, her dad's company was bankrupt. She and her family settled permanently in the Philippines in 1995. Before and after they migrated, she was not fluent in English nor Tagalog. She learned English in the Philippines, and she also speak a few Tagalog words. She has also favorite Filipino singer, i.e. Regine Velasquez, aside from Koreans. As eldest of three children, she takes care of her two siblings and gives help to the family. Because of this, she joined the artist T.V. search Star Circle Quest on ABS-CBN. Her closest friends there are Hero Angeles and John Ross "Joross" Gamboa . She was selected as the Texter's Choice. After Star Circle Quest, she has her own T.V. show named after her entitled Sandara's Romance — a T.V. show that shows a set of Asian (mostly Chinese and Korean) telenovelas — a teen-oriented T.V. series SCQ Reload: OK Ako! (SCQ Reload: I'm OK) — together with other contestants of Star Circle Quest — and a recording album with a song titled "In Or Out," which explains her real-life experience.
