Santa Marta
Santa Marta was the first city to be founded in Colombia and South America. It was often raided by pirates throughout its earlier history.
Today, it is an important port city.
Santa Marta is a municipality (pop. 4157) in the Spanish province of Badajoz, in the autonomous community of Extremadura.
