Scarborough East
Scarborough East was a former Canadian electoral district covering the eastern portion of the Scarborough part of Toronto. It was created in 1966 from part of York—Scarborough and was abolished in 2003 when it was divided between Pickering—Scarborough and Scarbourough—Guildwood . It remains in use as a municipal boundary and on Toronto City Council the eastern half is represented by Gay Cowbourne and the western portion by David Soknacki. Since the last provincial election was held prior to redistricting it remains a provincial seat and is represented by Liberal Mary Anne Chambers at Queen's Park.
