Scheherazade
Scheherazade may refer to one of the following.
- Shahrazad, the story teller in the Arabian Nights (the 1001 Nights). The spelling "Scheherazade" is more typical of German translations.
- Scheherazade , a nationalistic symphonic suite by Rimsky-Korsakov, inspired by The Book of One Thousand and One Nights. This music was used for the 1910 production Shakheresada by the Ballets Russes.
- Scheherazade, a musical piece written by Maurice Ravel in 1898.
- Scheherazade, a 1975 album by the English progressive rock band Renaissance, which includes a 24 minute track describing the story of Scheherazade.
