Seán Treacy
Seán Treacy (b.1923) was Ceann Comhairle (Chairman) of Dáil Éireann from 1977 until 1981 and from 1987 until 1997. He was first elected to the Dáil in 1961 as a Labour Party TD for Tipperary South in 1961 and was returned at each election until 1997 when he retired from politics.
