In the modern world there are various groups of Shorinjiryu, including - Shorinjiryu Kenkokan Karate, founded by Kori Hisataka (1907-1988) - Shorinjiryu Seibukan, founded by - Okinawan Shorinjiryu, founded by Joen Nakazato (1922-) - Shorinjiryu Renshinkan, founded by Isamu Tamotsu
