Shot
The term shot may refer to:
- Shot (film) is part of a film between two cuts.
- A single round fired from a firearm (see also warning shot).
- Small pellets usually iron or lead used in shotgun cartridges and other anti-personnel weapons.
- A measure of volume approximately equal to one ounce or 30 ml. See Shot glass.
- An attempt to score a goal in various sports: ice hockey or basketball.
- An injection of medicine performed using a syringe and hypodermic needle.
