Siege of Ueda
The Siege of Ueda took place in 1600 in Japan.
Tokugawa Hidetada, on his way to join his father, Ieyasu, stopped to seige Ueda Castle . The castle was held by Sanada Masayuki and his son Sanada Yukimura. When the castle did not fall as quickly as Hidetada had hoped and expected, he abandoned the siege and hurried to meet up with Ieyasu. As a result of this delay, Hidetada missed the Battle of Sekigahara.
