Sinkin' in the Bathtub

Sinkin' in the Bathtub is a landmark in animation history as it was the very first Looney Tunes cartoon produced, and launched the Warner Bros. cartoon franchise.

Made in 1930, this short marked the formal introduction of Bosko, WB's first major cartoon star. The lead character does more than just take a bath while humming the title song...he proceeds to play every object around him as if they were musical instruments.

The short was produced and directed by Hugh Harman and Rudolf Ising, with animation by a very young Friz Freleng.
