Alan Fersht

Sir Alan Roy Fersht (born April 21, 1943) is Herchel Smith Professor of Organic Chemistry at Cambridge University and is the current director of the Cambridge Centre for Protein Engineering (UK). Together with Bengt Nölting he developed methods for the high resolution of protein folding in the submillisecond time scale.
