Skywalker family

(Redirected from Skywalker)

In the Star Wars fictional universe, the Skywalker family is the family started by Shmi Skywalker on Tatooine. Shmi's son, Anakin Skywalker, was apparently born with the help of The Force. As a Jedi Knight, Anakin married Padmé Amidala, who gave birth to twins, Luke and Leia. Luke was raised on Tatooine by his aunt and uncle while Leia was raised by Bail Organa on Alderaan.

In the Expanded Universe, Leia married Han Solo and had three children: Jaina Solo, Jacen Solo, and Anakin Solo. Luke eventually married Mara Jade and had a son named Ben.

Some have speculated that Darth Revan was a very early ancestor of the Skywalker family.
