Slavistics
Slavistics is the study of Slavic languages, Slavic literature and Slavic culture . Slavist or Slavicist is a linguist or philologist who researches the Slavistics. An equivalent British English form is Slavonic and American English Slavic (scholar).
NB: not to be confused with Pan-Slavists.
