Slow Riot for New Zero Kanada is an EP released by Godspeed You Black Emperor! in 1999.
The front of the album contains Hebrew characters, in transliterated form, "tohu va vohu". This phrase is used in Genesis 1:1-2, and means loosely "without form and void." The dots and dashes above the letters dictate the tune and are found in Jewish bibles.
Blaise Bailey Finnegan III refers to Blaze Bayley, the singer of Iron Maiden. This is because the man's "poem" read in the song is, almost verbatim, the Iron Maiden song "Virus."
Tracks:
- Moya - 10:51
- Blaise Bailey Finnegan III - 17:45
