Social Distortion

Social Distortion (often known as Social D) is an old school punk band, appearing in the early '80s and still active today. The band was formed in late 1978 by frontman Mike Ness as a teenager. They played with fellow Orange County bands such as the Adolescents, China White , and Shattered Faith as part of the nascent hardcore punk movement. Their music was fast, angry, and energetic. In the 90s they started playing more moderate music, including elements of grunge. In 1996 they release album titled White Light, White Heat, White Trash. In 2000 guitarist Dennis Danell died, but the band overcomes the loss and in 2004 releases their latest album Sex, Love and Rock 'n' Roll.

During their long history the band released many popular singles such as "Mommy's Little Monster", "Prison Bound", "Story of My Life", "Ball and Chain", "Bad Luck", "When She Begins", "I Was Wrong", "When The Angels Sing" and their new singles from their new album Sex, Love and Rock 'n' Roll: "Reach for the Sky", "Highway 101" and "Don't Take Me For Granted".
