Solun
Solun
Solun is the Slav name for the ancient Greek town of Thessaloniki on the Aegean Sea, also called Byalo More. It is the birthplace of the Solun Brothers , Saint Kiril and Saint Methodius who designed the Cyrillic alphabet and translated many Christian books into Old Bulgarian, also known as Old Church Slavonic.
