Something's Gotta Give is an American movie released in 2003.

The movie opens with a title sequence accompanied by rap music about love (the eros variety, in Greek terms), and shots of beautiful women walking in a city.

The first scene

The first scene is of Harry Sanborn driving Marin Barry to her mother's beach house on the coast in a silver Mercedes-Benz SL-Class roadster (with the top down), after they have recently fallen in love. While driving, he attempts to make conversation by asking her if her mother is rich. He comments that if she lives within a mile of their current position, then she must be rich. When they arrive at the house, they expect to be alone. However, they unexpectedly find this to be untrue.

Setting

Most of the movie takes place on the East coast, but the last part takes place in Paris.
