Sonic the Hedgehog Spinball

Sonic the Hedgehog Spinball (also known as Sonic Spinball) is a pinball game combined somewhat with the storyline of the Sonic the Hedgehog series. The plot of the game is that Sonic must infiltrate the lair of Dr. Robotnik and, by retrieving the Chaos Emeralds and advancing through the levels of the game, eventually defeating Dr. Robotnik. It was originally released for the Sega Genesis in 1993.

The game featured four large pinball 'tables' - a sewer level, a geothermal power station, a robot factory, and a launchpad system.

Sonic Spinball was rereleased along with Ecco the Dolphin and Golden Axe on the Game Boy Advance in 2000 in a compilation called Sega Smash Pack.
