South Wales Valleys
The South Wales Valleys make up a large part of South Wales and are often used as a symbol of Wales itself.
The valleys were heavily industrialised during the industrial revolution to take advantage of the Welsh coalfield.
The area is a hotbed of Welsh rugby.
