Spin singlet
In quantum mechanics, spin singlet is a composite particle whose total internal angular momentum, i.e. its spin, vanishes. Consequently, the composite particle can only have one possible value of the third component of the spin, namely zero, and therefore is a one-dimensional representation (a singlet).
