Stanley Burbury
Sir Stanley Charles Burbury was the Governor of Tasmania from 1973 to 1982.
Prior to his appointment as Governor, Stanley Burbury had been Chief Justice of the Supreme Court of Tasmania, the culmination of a distinguished career in law in Tasmania.
Sir Stanley was born on 3 December 1909 in Tasmania, and died on 24 April 1995 at Hobart, Tasmania. He was knighted in 19?? .
