State house
A state house is the meeting place, in a U.S. state capital, of the state legislature. See, for instance, the Maryland state house.
In New Zealand, a state house is a house constructed by the government to rent to private citizens who might otherwise not be able to afford a home. The practice of offering state housing was begun by the New Zealand Labour government in 1937.
The State House is also a United States passenger train in Illinois and Missouri.
