Steve Jurvetson
Steven T. Jürvetson (born in Arizona, USA) is a Managing Director of Draper Fisher Jurvetson (DFJ). He was the founding Venture Capitalist (VC) investor in Hotmail, Interwoven, and Kana. He also led the firm's investments in Tradex and Cyras (acquired by Ariba and Ciena ). Currently DFJ helds investments in number of businesses, including Skype.
Steve Jürvetson has a B.S. and M.S. in electrical engineering and an M.B.A. all from Stanford University.
Ethnically Estonian, Jürvetson is a son of Estonian refugees, who escaped from Estonia during World War II.
