Stocksfield
Stocksfield is a small commuter village approximately 14 miles west of Newcastle upon Tyne in the Tynedale district of Northumberland. The village has a railway station on the Tyne Valley Line.
There are several smaller villages and Hamlets surrounding Stocksfield, including New Ridley , Broomley , Hindley, Bywell , Mickley , and Hedley on the Hill . Royal Mail addresses for these locations can often show that these villages are considered part of Stocksfield.
