Stranger Than Fiction: True Stories

Stranger Than Fiction: True Stories (published in the United Kingdom under the title Nonfiction) is a non-fiction book by Chuck Palahniuk, published in 2004. It is a collection of non-fiction essays, stories, and interviews the author wrote for various magazines and newspapers during previous years, some of which had been previously published on the internet. The book is broken up into sections by the type of story: "People Together", about various people who find unique ways of achieving togetherness; "Portraits", a collections of interviews and short essays mostly about famous individuals; and "Personal", an autobiographical section.

An abridged audiobook version of the book read by the author was released at the same time as the print edition. An unabridged version co-read by Dennis Boutsikaris was later released.
