Styx
Styx has several meanings:
- Styx is a USA rock and roll band.
- In Greek mythology, the river Styx formed the boundary between the living world and the underworld. Styx is also the name of a primordial goddess who represented that river, a daughter of Erebus and Nyx.
- Styx is also the network protocol at the heart of the Inferno operating system. See 9P.
- The Styx forest in Tasmania, Australia which has become a political and activist issue due to logging.
