History

Founded by Brad X , and run with the help of Doug Carrion and Kevin Zinger , as an outlet for underground artists to professionally release music, Suburban Noize records is a diverse independent label releasing punk (Last Laugh), hardcore (Mower), hip-hop (Tsunami Brothers) and mixed genre artists (Kottonmouth Kings) as well as other creative music. Most of the bands on the label are geared towards the southern california underground scene and only the Kottonmouth kings have achieved real mainstream success. Up until their Fire It Up album, all KMK albums were distributed by Capitol Records. Now with the growing revenue towards indie bands and labels, all Sub Noize releases are free from RIAA distribution and rules.
