Suit
Suit is a term with various meanings:
- An action brought before a court, as to recover a right or redress a grievance (see Lawsuit).
- An combination of or one that wears such a combination of clothes, such as a jacket and trousers. See Suit (clothes).
- One of four categories into which a deck of cards is divided. See Suit (cards).
- Slang for professional (sometimes including government employees). Usually used as a negative reference to someone seen as part of the Establishment. Used in a similar sense by hackers to refer to management (see Jargon File entry below).
