Super Bowl XII


Super Bowl XII was played on January 15, 1978 at the Louisiana Superdome in New Orleans, Louisiana. The Dallas Cowboys won the game, beating the Denver Broncos 27 to 10.

The game was the first Super Bowl played indoors. It was broadcast on CBS in the United States with Pat Summerall and Tom Brookshier .

Asked after the game what he thought made the difference between the two teams, Denver placekicker Jim Turner replied, "We went in thinking about winning. They went in thinking about football."
