Sylvester Barret
Sylvester Barret (1926-2002) was a senior Irish politician. He was first elected to Dáil Éireann in 1969 as a Fianna Fáil TD for Clare. He served in the Cabinets of both Jack Lynch and Charles J. Haughey. Barret was also elected to the European Parliament in 1984 for the Munster constituency.
