Tahar Ben Jelloun
Tahar Ben Jelloun (born in Fez, 1944) is a Moroccan poet and writer. He has lived and worked in France since 1961 and writes in French although his first language is Arabic. His novel La Nuit Sacrée won the Prix Goncourt in 1987.
