In the fictional universe of Gundam Seed Destiny, the aircraft carrier Takemikazuchi is trimaran naval vessel that serves as the Orb Union's flagship. It is designed to support the MBF-M1 Astray and MVF-M11C Murasame mobile suits, and can carry over 60 mobile suits, far in excess of the capacity of its nearest contemporary, the Earth Alliance's converted Tarawa-class assault ships.
In late CE 73, Captain Todaka of the 2nd Defense Fleet is assigned to command the Takemikazuchi, which also serves as the flagship of Yuuna Roma Seiran. A fleet under Yuuna Seiran's command joints forces with an Earth Alliance fleet led by Neo Lorrnoke aboard the John Paul Jones for a joint operation against the ZAFT battleship Minerva.
The Takemikazuchi is named for a deity from Japanese mythology.
