Talk:Algebraic structure
Would it be correct to say that "field" and "group" are algebraic structures, or that "the field of reals" and "the group of integers under addition" are algebraic structures? The article flips back and forth between the two in a confusing fashion. (The definition at the top of the article implies that it is specific instances which are algebraic structures; but the last paragraph implies that "group" is an algebraic structure.)
