Teddy Atlas

Teddy Atlas is recognized as one of boxing's greatest trainers. He has also worked as a fight commentator. Atlas had boxed as a youth but quit due to a spinal injury. He began his career as a trainer under the legendary Cus D'Amato who trained Floyd Patterson and a young Mike Tyson. In an infamous incident, Atlas pulled a gun on the young Tyson after Tyson had reportedly fondled his young sister in law. Atlas was one of the first to predict that Tyson's character flaws would prevent him from ever being a great champion. He even predicted that Tyson would deliberately foul Evander Holyfield in their rematch. This was a week before the fight and Atlas's prediction came true!
