Tego Calderón
Tegui Calderón Rosario — better known as Tego Calderón — is a rapper from Loíza Aldea , Loíza, Puerto Rico. He does not only record reggaeton music but also hip hop music. His album El Abayarde made him a major Latin star. His lyrics speak of the struggles of the Puerto Rican people and involve topics of racism, inequalities, and Puerto Rican ghettos.
Tego Calderón appears as a guest rapper on Cypress Hill's 2004 album Till Death Do Us Part . Calderón grew up in both Puerto Rico and Miami, Florida, which may have shaped his stylistic range and his ease at working together with US musicians.
