Test cricket hat-tricks

This is a list of all hat-tricks in test match cricket. There have been 35 since test cricket began in 1877. Jimmy Matthews' two hat-tricks at Old Trafford, Manchester, England in 1912 (numbers 8 and 9 in the list below) are the only time two hat-tricks have been taken in the same test match.
