60 athletes represent Thailand at the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens, Greece. Flag bearer at the opening ceremony was the Tennis player Paradorn Srichaphan. With three gold and eight medals altogether it was the best ever performance of Thai athletes at any Olympic games.
