The Amazing Race 8
The Amazing Race 8 is the eigth installment of the popular reality television show, The Amazing Race. The Amazing Race 8 will differ from previous installments of The Amazing Race in that the race will now feature teams of four, instead of two, and will allow for the participation of minors (as young as the age of 8). However, the Race will return to the original teams of two for The Amazing Race 9.
In March 2005, host Phil Keoghan toured major cities in the United States (Cleveland, Detroit, Chicago, St. Louis, Kansas City, Denver, Albuquerque, Phoenix, and Los Angeles) to scout contestants for the race.
