The Anniversary

The Anniversary was an alternative rock band formed in 1997 in Kansas City. The band broke up on February 6th, 2004. Released two full length albums: Your Majesty and Designing a Nervous Breakdown. Originally a group of High School friends, Matt Pryor of the Get Up Kids approached them about recording an album. Designing a Nervous Breakdown was the result.

Break Up

Not much is known as to why. They were dropped by Vagrant and a few months later broke up.

The final message posted on their website was:

Hello everyone. Due to a number of reasons, The Anniversary has broken up. This may take some of you by surprise, but it was a long time coming. We'll be selling stuff online a little longer so buy it up now because their collector's items. Thank you all for your support in our efforts to make the music world a better place. We just weren't prepard for it. Please feel free to check out this website www.theholyghosts.com. It's another project that Josh, Jim, myself, Casey from Hot Rod Circuit, and T.K.
