The Battle of Olympus

The Battle of Olympus is a video game for the Nintendo Entertainment System, released by Brøderbund in 1990.

The game takes place in Ancient Greece. The main character is named Orpheus, who must rescue his love Helene from Hades, god of the underworld. To do this, Orpheus must enlist the aid of the gods and obtain weapons, equipment, and fragments of Helene's love. The bosses, enemies, and other characters consist of people and creatures taken from Greek mythology.

The Battle of Olympus is largely consistent with the mythology. It also has a repetitive soundtrack that gets annoying after an extended period.
