An episode of Lost in Space which demonstrates the show's descent into bathos starred Stanley Adams as Tybo the rebellious carrot.
A popular television actor, Adams played the role of one-man trader Cyrano Jones in the humorous Star Trek episode, The Trouble with Tribbles. He also wrote the far more serious episode "Mark of Gideon" in Star Trek's 3rd and final season.
