The Man Who Planted Trees
The Man Who Planted Trees (L'homme qui plantait des arbres) is an Academy Award winning Canadian animated film directed by Frederick Back about how a shepherd restores the ruined ecosystem of an isolated valley by singledhandly cultivating a forest over a 30 year period.
The film won the Oscar for Best Animated Short Film in 1986.
