The NBC Monday Movie
The NBC Monday Movie was a television program scheduled every Monday night from 1963 to 1999 on NBC. This show featured edited feature films and made-for-TV movies. The featured films were edited (1) for content, to remove objectionable material (2) for time, to reduce the film's running time to fit into the 2-hour timeslot, and (3) for resizing, so the image would fit the standard 4:3 television screen (as opposed to letterbox format).
