The New Adventures of Winnie the Pooh

The New Adventures of Winnie the Pooh is an American animated series made by The Walt Disney Company and inspired by A. A. Milne's Winnie the Pooh stories. The series first aired in 1988 on ABC.

In addition to Pooh, Piglet, Tigger, Rabbit, Eeyore, Owl, Kanga, Roo, and Christopher Robin, there are also new characters that were not in Milne's stories, such as Gopher, Owl's cousin Dexter, Kessie the Bluebird, Junior Heffalump (and his parents), Skippy the Sheepdog, Stan Woozle & Heff Heffalump, and other characters.

One notable difference between the television series and the Pooh movies is that on the television program, Christopher Robin speaks with a distinctly American accent; in the films, he has a British accent.

This series is based on the movie titled The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh which is based on the Winnie the Pooh books by A. A. Milne.
