The Silly Spider Monkey Fiasco

The Silly Spider Monkey Fiasco is a sketch comedy show that started in the fall of 1998. Trevor Williams, the show's producer and creator, started the show his freshman year of college at the University of Georgia. The show grew from a crude, black out straight sketch comedy show to an effects-filled, award winning comedy performance. The Spider Monkey Fiasco leans more toward Monty Python in its style. Sketches that range from absurd satire to pop culture parody interweave to form an all-encompassing narrative that results in unrelated sketches tying together. The cast of seven play a multitude of characters that have gathered a cult following in the South.
